About the position

The ETL Informatica Developer will work closely with business users to develop data pipelines from source applications to corporate data platforms, primarily utilizing Informatica development tools. The role focuses on optimizing analytic solutions and ensuring data accuracy and quality through collaboration and technical expertise in ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, innovative solutions for extracting, transforming, and moving data.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to understand data sources.
• Optimize data models through normalization, table analysis, and query reviews.
• Present analytic model outcomes in a format easily understood by the business.
• Perform ETL/ELT functions for new or existing data sources.
• Conduct requirements gathering with business stakeholders to plan project activities.
• Collaborate with business users to ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Gather and compile data using various techniques in response to data requests.
• Create code or GUI data mappings while adhering to company standards.
• Work closely with other pipeline developers to ensure cohesive integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Development, Analytics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of direct experience in coding, ETL Development/Engineering, analytics, or research.
• Proficiency with Informatica ETL/ELT tools, including PowerCenter, BDM/DEI, and IICS products.
• Experience working with Snowflake and Snowpark.
• Experience developing data pipelines utilizing Python.
• Direct experience integrating source APIs into big data environments.
• Proficiency in SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Data Modeling experience utilizing Erwin Data Modeling Tool.
• Experience with Tidal Job Scheduling Software.
• Development experience with DBT.
• CI/CD experience.
