About the position

The ETL Informatica Developer role involves designing, developing, and automating ETL processes using Informatica tools. The position requires extensive experience in data integration from various sources and the ability to create efficient SQL scripts. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to data analytics and performance management systems, while collaborating with agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center.
• Acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources/technologies for use in Tableau data visualization.
• Design and develop complex SQL scripts that are fast and efficient.
• Provide strong analytical and problem-solving skills as a system analyst for data analytics or data warehousing projects.
• Create technical documentation and diagrams using modeling and mapping tools.
• Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Design and develop scripts using Python.
• Participate in agile sprint teams and utilize JIRA software for project management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing ETL processes using Informatica tools.
• 8+ years of experience integrating data from various sources including Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts.
• 8+ years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data analytics or data warehousing.
• 8+ years of technical writing and diagramming skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and modeling tools.
• 8+ years of experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple units.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing scripts using Python.
• 8+ years of experience working in an agile environment.

• 6+ years of experience writing well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• 4+ years of understanding security principles related to healthcare data.
• 4+ years of experience with software components for performance metrics data visualization.

• 4+ years of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of prior experience in the Healthcare Industry.
• 2+ years of experience with an HHS agency.
• 2+ years of experience working with PII or PHI data.
• 2+ years of expertise in web applications and programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• 2+ years of experience creating user interfaces using HTML/CSS standards.
• 2+ years of functional knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
