About the position

As an ETL Informatica Developer at Charles Schwab, you will play a crucial role in building end-to-end data flow solutions primarily for investment operations and reconciliation purposes. You will be part of a Scrum team focused on data flow analysis and development, utilizing ETL tools and database programming to meet functional and data requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret functional and data requirements to build end-to-end data flow solutions.
  • Develop ETL processes using Informatica Power Center.
  • Create and optimize stored procedures and queries in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for data processing.
  • Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to enhance data flow analysis and development.
  • Conduct data analysis, profiling, mapping, quality checks, and governance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with ETL development using Informatica Power Center.
  • 3+ years of experience developing stored procedures and basic query tuning in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
  • 3+ years experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
  • Experience with data analysis, profiling, mapping, quality, lineage, and governance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Investment Management industry.
  • Experience working with Snowflake.
  • BI/Reporting experience with tools such as Tableau.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server security model.
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset including JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, & Confluence.
  • Experience processing or producing XML, XSD, and XSL.
  • SQL Server performance tuning.
  • Experience developing applications using C#.
  • Experience developing automated data validation and testing routines with Data Validation Option (DVO).
