The ETL Lead/Developer position is a critical role focused on the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data within a data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Teradata and advanced SQL, with a deep understanding of ETL processes and methodologies. This role requires the ability to write complex SQL queries and Teradata stored procedures, as well as experience with various Teradata utilities such as BTEQ scripts, Fast Load, MLoad, and TPT. The position is onsite in St. Louis, MO, and is a long-term contract role. As an ETL Lead/Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. You will work closely with product owners, scrum masters, and business clients to clarify requirements and provide inputs to design specifications within the defined architecture. The role also involves setting up complex workflows and schedules, as well as documenting installation and operating procedures for the ETL processes. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in SQL query design within large-scale data warehouse environments, along with expertise in data collection, database design, and report development. Strong analytical skills, good communication abilities, and a solid understanding of UNIX programming are essential for this position. Additionally, experience with Agile methodology and delivering IT/BI solutions will be beneficial.
