About the position

The ETL PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) Developer role involves developing and managing software applications, ensuring quality outcomes, and providing guidance on best practices in web application development. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutions and maintain existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts
• Develop applications
• Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes
• Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction
• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years experience in ETL PDI (Pentaho Data Integration)
• Technical Degree or related discipline
• Experience in designing and building applications in various languages
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
