About the position

The ETL Report Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data for various reports and exports from a SQL Server database. This role involves creating SSIS packages for traditional data exports and ensuring data quality and validation throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Create SSIS packages to extract data from the database according to specified criteria
• Apply necessary data transformations to ensure data is in the correct format for export
• Generate export files (e.g., flat files, csv) in the specified format
• Test the SSIS packages to ensure they are extracting and transforming data correctly

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in ETL tools, ideally SSIS
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java)
• Strong SQL skills
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
• Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
