About the position

The ETL/SSIS Developer role at Robert Half involves translating business needs into technical specifications, enhancing existing Business Intelligence (BI) systems, and conducting data analysis. The position requires collaboration with various teams for system integration and the automation of manual processes, transitioning them from Excel to SSIS/Qlik Sense. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining technical documentation and ensuring accurate processing of customer credit applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical specifications to ensure the development of efficient BI systems
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless data flow
• Develop and execute database queries to conduct detailed analyses
• Automate manual processes, transitioning them from Excel to SSIS/Qlik Sense
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and data analysis processes
• Develop visualizations and reports for requested projects, aiding in data interpretation and decision making
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation to facilitate clear communication of processes and systems
• Utilize BusinessObjects Technologies, DB2 Database, DDL, ER/Studio, Erwin Data, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Create Dashboards, Data Analysis, Database Administration, Microsoft SSIS, Qlik Sense, Qlik and other relevant skills in daily tasks
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when needed.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an ETL/SSIS Developer or in a related role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies.
• Proficient in handling DB2 Databases.
• Strong understanding of DDL.
• Familiarity with ER/Studio and Erwin Data.
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and creating dashboards.
• Ability to understand and document business requirements.
• Proven proficiency in data analysis.
• Prior experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in SSIS is essential.
• Experience in using Qlik Sense and Qlik for data visualization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
