Responsibilities

• Analyze big data sets to inform and improve Ford's future electrified vehicle designs
• Develop tools and models to analyze real world customer data sets to assess on-road performance and maximize energy management value
• Collaborate with EV engineering teams to meet data and analytical needs
• Identify emerging quality issues and support investigations using connected vehicle data
• Optimize electrified powerpack operations for performance attributes, cost, and complexity
• Develop and share innovative tools and methodologies with analytics teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or equivalent; or a Google Careers Certificate in Data Analytics
• Experience manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data
• Proven Python skills with at least one implemented project
• Proficiency in SQL, HiveQL, or BigQuery
• Basic statistical knowledge

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years using Python for data analysis
• Proficient with Git
• Experience with web frameworks like React and Angular
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform services
• Inquisitive, proactive, and eager to learn and apply new tools and techniques
• Previous experience with electrified powertrain systems
• Experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms or models
