About the position

The Evening Operations Coordinator at the Union Bowling Center is responsible for overseeing the operations of the bowling center during evening hours. This role involves coordinating with student employees to ensure that all bowling machines and equipment are functioning properly. The coordinator will also be tasked with performing minor repairs on equipment as needed, ensuring that the facility remains operational and safe for all users. Customer service is a key component of this position, as the coordinator will interact with patrons and ensure that their experience is enjoyable and meets the standards of the facility. In addition to operational oversight, the Evening Operations Coordinator will monitor the schedules of student employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that all shifts are adequately covered. Training is also a significant part of this role, as the coordinator will be responsible for instructing student staff on the proper operation of bowling lanes, retail sales, and the rental of bowling equipment. This includes teaching best practices for end-of-day cleaning procedures and customer service techniques to enhance the overall experience for guests. The coordinator will also be responsible for preparing nightly deposits and maintaining accurate inventory records, which are essential for the financial and operational integrity of the bowling center. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing a high level of service to both staff and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Bowling Center Operations in the evening.
