About the position

The Evening Program Manager at Beacon of Hope is responsible for overseeing the operations of residential programs within a multi-licensed facility located at the Bronx State Psychiatric Center. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining program standards, and supervising staff to deliver effective services to residents. The Program Manager will also engage in program activities and interventions to support the mental health and well-being of clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the residential program and ensure compliance with Office of Mental Health regulations.
• Maintain a full program census and deliver restorative services according to resident service plans.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met for all program spaces, including bedrooms and apartments.
• Supervise staff performance and facilitate program improvement initiatives.
• Plan and supervise program activities such as skills groups, recreation, and socialization events.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a Mental Health discipline.
• Preferred license in a Mental Health discipline.
• Three years of experience working with mentally ill and/or substance use populations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
