About the position

The Machine Operator (P2) position at Denso involves operating highly automated production equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role requires the ability to perform set-ups, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting, as well as conducting quality checks and maintaining production records.

Responsibilities

• Operation of highly automated production equipment
• Perform set-up and changeover of machinery
• Conduct minor troubleshooting of equipment
• Perform scheduled quality checks and maintain check sheets
• Load and unload shipments
• Audit customer/supplier shipments
• Crosstrain on different processes and rotate between stations
• Follow all safety and quality requirements
• Complete P&X Charts
• Confer with other associates and chain of command to resolve problems
• Perform other duties as assigned by chain of command

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience, preferably in multi-machine operation
• Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and minor repair
• Stable work history
• Knowledge of general machine repair
• Ability to read, compute, interpret, construct and maintain charts, records, log books, and graphs
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 33 lbs
• Qualified candidates must complete and pass a Plant Skills Review (PSR)
