About the position

The Evening Shift Route Service Representative plays a crucial role in the Transportation and Logistics team at Quest Diagnostics, ensuring that clinical specimens are picked up and delivered to designated laboratories while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires reliability, efficiency, and a focus on results, contributing to the overall mission of improving patient outcomes through timely and accurate specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic route services including picking up specimens and verifying test requisitions.
• Deliver specimens to designated laboratory/distribution sites using appropriate handling and transportation methods.
• Establish and maintain positive client relations.
• Complete and submit all administrative forms such as daily route logs and supply requisitions.
• Help with the packing of specimens for transport to the Core Laboratory.
• Maintain compliance with safe driving regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and safety.

Requirements

• Proficient in verbal communication with internal and external contacts.
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Previous medical laboratory experience is a plus.
