About the position
The Part-Time Afternoon/Evening Support Teacher at North Point Prep (NPP) is responsible for assisting across all classrooms, providing a supportive learning environment for students, and engaging positively with parents. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young students and contributing to their growth in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various classrooms throughout the afternoon and evening
- Greet parents with a smile and offer positive feedback on students' evening progress
- Support students in craft activities and other classroom projects
- Assist lead teachers in maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- Help close the classroom at the end of the shift
Requirements
- Experience in education or childcare is preferred
- High school diploma or GED
