About the position
Ivyfocus Education Inc is seeking a part-time Evening Tutor to provide in-home tutoring for two international middle school students. The role focuses on helping students improve their academic performance in subjects such as Science, Algebra, and English, while also preparing them for quizzes and tests.
Responsibilities
- Help students improve their academic performance and achieve good grades
- Explain challenging concepts clearly and effectively
- Assist students with homework and school assignments
- Prepare students for quizzes and tests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or current enrollment in a college program working toward a BA/BS degree
- Strong knowledge of middle school subjects, including Science, Algebra, and English
- Must reside in the local area (near Glendora, CA)
- Must be available from January 6th through early June 2025
Nice-to-haves
- No prior tutoring experience required, though teaching experience is a plus

- Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
