About The Position

The Events Assistant position at Envision the Moment Event Services, LLC is a contracted, entry-level role focused on supporting wedding planning and event management. The assistant will work closely with the Lead Wedding Planner to execute various events, ensuring that each client's vision is brought to life while gaining valuable experience in the wedding industry. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as hours will vary based on event needs, typically ranging from 8 to 14 hours per event, and may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's license with clean driving history
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work on your feet for the majority of the day
  • Computer Skills; Efficient in Canva, Google Drive/Forms, Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure within a limited timeframe
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to stay up to date with industry trends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the service industry and/or customer service industry
  • Prior event or wedding planning experience
  • Social Media Skills - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with and overseeing the correct set-up of the ceremony and reception site(s)
  • Assisting VIPs throughout the course of the event
  • Being available to wedding guests to answer their questions and assist them as needed
  • Directing guests to appropriate areas as needed throughout the evening
  • Assisting vendors with their set-up by being close at hand to answer questions regarding product placement
  • Being a resource to the Bride & Groom with regards to what's happening next in the schedule
  • Overseeing and assisting with set up and tear down of wedding decor items
  • Maintaining the schedule and coordinating the timeline for all special events throughout the reception
  • Trouble-shooting any issues that arise during the event
  • Performing any other tasks designated by the Lead Planner
