About the position

Cholon Restaurant Concepts is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Sales & Events Manager to lead the event initiatives across our diverse locations. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to collaborate closely with ownership, management, culinary teams, and staff to foster growth and innovation within our organization. The Sales and Events Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing revenue through the orchestration of events both on-site and off-site, managing large party bookings, engaging in local marketing efforts, and leveraging social media channels. This is a proactive, hands-on position that promises rewarding outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic plans aimed at boosting event bookings and achieving quarterly sales objectives. You will oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring flawless coordination and superior service delivery. Engaging with clients to grasp their requirements and vision will be essential, as you will be transforming concepts into successful events. You will also proactively identify and resolve any challenges or special requests to guarantee guest satisfaction. Staying informed about industry trends and best practices will be crucial, as you will consistently seek avenues for enhancement. Cultivating strong relationships with guests, vendors, and partners will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, along with maintaining engaging and consistent content across our social media platforms, effectively representing our brands.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in event management or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality sector with a focus on event management.
  • A self-driven individual with aspirations for growth within the organization.
  • Exhibits high levels of adaptability and commitment to fulfilling event requirements.
  • Possesses a vibrant, enthusiastic, and confident demeanor.
  • Demonstrates excellent supervisory and management capabilities specific to event coordination.
  • Familiarity with event management software, preferably Tripleseat.
