About the position

The Event/Customer Service Trainee position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and support. This role involves engaging with clients and their customers during community-based events, ensuring a positive experience, and addressing inquiries and issues effectively. The position emphasizes communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries during in-person community-based events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' initiatives to effectively engage customers and generate revenue.
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and gather insights on common pain points or areas of improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the overall experience for customers and maximize revenue generation.
  • Continuously propose process improvements to enhance customer experience and streamline support operations.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or support roles is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathetic and patient approach when dealing with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of customer inquiries efficiently.
