About the position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Clearstory. The ideal candidate will oversee Clearstory's presence at dozens of trade shows and conferences each year, while also planning events for Clearstory to host for its customers, potential customers, and partners. This includes organizing dinners, local meet-ups, and our customer advisory board meetings. The Event Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and engagement through well-executed events. In this role, you will attend events around the country and act as the boots-on-the-ground coordinator for all event logistics. You will develop and execute comprehensive event plans, which include budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination. Managing lead generation and qualification processes at events will be a key responsibility, utilizing HubSpot to track and nurture leads effectively. After each event, you will conduct post-event analysis to measure ROI and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring that each event contributes positively to our business objectives. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to align event goals with overall business objectives. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and identifying new event opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to innovate and enhance our event strategy continuously.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Clearstory's presence at trade shows and conferences.
  • Plan and execute events for customers, potential customers, and partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of event management experience, preferably in B2B.
  • Experience with the Construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot for lead tracking and management.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for events.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B events management is a plus.
  • Strong conversational skills to engage potential customers.
