The Event Field Marketing Manager will communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups outside the organization, representing our local team to home show sponsors, the public, and other external sources. This role involves creating and planning the annual local calendar of events where our products and services can be showcased, including retail outlets, events, and home shows. The Event Field Marketing Manager is also responsible for providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person on local venues and events where our products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads. Evaluating the success of current and past participation and recommending a course of action for future participation is crucial. The manager will identify appropriate displays for each event and work with designated parties responsible for delivery and set-up to ensure that installation of displays is performed on time and within budget while meeting all codes and safety requirements. Flexibility is key, as the Event Field Marketing Manager will be required to participate in community events. You will be working alongside your staff at events and stores in the area to train and demonstrate lead generation capabilities. Recruiting, training, and maintaining the staff necessary to reach company goals is also a significant part of this role. Willingness to work any day needed to complete all tasks, including weekends, is essential, as this is not a typical Monday to Friday position. Achieving the goals set by our management team will allow for career advancement into the Regional Event Field Marketing Manager role, which includes a larger coverage area and higher salary.
