About the position

As an Event Manager at BEST Crowd Management, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional event experiences at Beaver Stadium in State College, PA. This role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of event operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless execution. You will be at the heart of operations, making every event a success while enjoying a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting, hiring, security licensing, training, scheduling, and event day operations.
• Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Event Supervisors to ensure top performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients through regular contact and support.
• Identify and address issues at events, assisting with investigations as needed.
• Handle client or site emergencies with effective communication and swift action.
• Manage all technical and managerial aspects of event operations, responding to client requests.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures and conduct on-the-job training.
• Ensure all procedures and training materials are up-to-date and all positions are well-maintained and organized.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional-level experience, preferably in security, event staffing, law enforcement, or military.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, security, or a related field.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good independent judgment and discretion, with the ability to notify superiors when necessary.
• Ability to respond effectively to changes in situations or information.
• Ability to pass a background check.
