About the position

The Event Manager at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing exquisite events, primarily in the wedding sector. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a team environment and is passionate about exceeding client expectations. The Event Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and coordinate events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on event days.
  • Lead a team of trained staff to achieve excellent event execution.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and departments throughout the planning process.
  • Direct the set-up and breakdown of assigned events, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee food service execution and provide feedback to maintain standards.
  • Conduct post-event discussions with clients and adjust specifications as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience and training in the hospitality industry.
  • RAMP Certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fine dining hospitality.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
