About the position

The Full Service Event Manager at DiAnoia's Eatery is a pivotal role responsible for the meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of Full Service Events. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage all aspects of event logistics. The Event Manager will oversee various elements including menu selection, timeline creation, rental arrangements, staffing coordination, venue management, and vendor relations. The goal is to ensure that every event meets the high standards set by DiAnoia's Eatery, providing exceptional service to clients and guests alike. In this role, the Event Manager will collaborate closely with the Off Site Sales Manager to understand client needs and expectations. This involves not only executing the logistics of the event but also ensuring that the overall experience is seamless and enjoyable for all attendees. The Event Manager must be adaptable, as events can vary greatly in size and scope, requiring a flexible approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The position demands a proactive attitude, as the Event Manager will need to anticipate potential challenges and address them before they impact the event. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure everyone is aligned and informed throughout the planning process. The Event Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, representing DiAnoia's Eatery in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute Full Service Events from start to finish.
  • Manage event logistics including menu, timeline, rentals, staffing, and venue coordination.
  • Maintain vendor relations and ensure all services meet DiAnoia's Eatery standards.
  • Work closely with the Off Site Sales Manager to understand client needs and expectations.
  • Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during the planning and execution of events.
  • Ensure exceptional service is provided to clients and guests during events.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of event planning experience.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
  • U.S. Work Authorization.
  • Availability Tuesday - Sunday, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
