About the position

As an Event Manager at Hilton Anatole, you will be responsible for executing sales agreements for moderately sized and complex events, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your role will involve negotiating vendor agreements, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating event details with various hotel departments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute written sales agreements for moderately sized and moderately complex events, managing up to 300 cumulative room nights.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing of vendor partner agreements and service agreements with affiliated companies and organizations.
  • Maintain relationships among customers, their representatives, and the hotel to ensure full participation in servicing accounts.
  • Initiate verbal and written communication with customers and hotel departments outlining event details, including payment structure, room block management, food and beverage, public room rental, exhibit hall fees, and master billing process.
  • Partner with operations departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Assist customers as necessary, which may require moving items up to 20lbs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • Experience in event management or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
