About the position

Socure is seeking a highly organized and creative Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of corporate events, trade shows, and conferences that enhance Socure’s brand presence and drive engagement with customers, partners, and industry leaders. The ideal candidate has experience managing B2B events in the technology, fintech, or cybersecurity industries, with a strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure seamless event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy, aligning with Socure’s brand, business goals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Socure-hosted events, including executive roundtables, customer dinners, workshops, summits, and exclusive VIP experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to develop event content, messaging, and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate on brand experience touchpoints, including signage, agendas, gifting, and environment design to ensure consistency and memorability across all hosted events.
  • Manage external partners such as venues, caterers, A/V teams, and production agencies to deliver polished, high-touch events on time and on budget.
  • Lead pre-event and post-event efforts, including invitation strategy, RSVP tracking, follow-up workflows, and event performance reporting.
  • Track event effectiveness, including attendee engagement, influence on pipeline, and satisfaction scores—translating insights into optimization strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor events, and emerging event technologies to enhance Socure’s event strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, marketing events, or trade show management, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events, from intimate C-level gatherings to multi-session hosted programs, while maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven marketing, with experience in audience targeting, engagement strategy, and event-influenced pipeline acceleration.
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing high-touch experiences, including venue sourcing, catering, gifting, and premium on-site logistics—attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to align event strategies with business objectives.
  • Proficiency with event management tools (Cvent, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with travel and flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to support on-site event execution.
