About the position

The Event Manager will oversee the operations of the Holiday Light Show, ensuring a memorable experience for guests. This part-time, temporary role requires managing staff, maintaining operational standards, and addressing customer inquiries during the event.

Responsibilities

  • Arriving one hour before the event each evening to activate all holiday light displays.
  • Monitoring and maintaining BOLD Media's operational standards throughout the event.
  • Managing staff activities and providing guidance when needed.
  • Communicating remotely with the Special Event Operations Center to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable event experience.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any on-site issues.
  • Powering down displays and securing the event site at the end of each night.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management or staff supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
