About the position

The Event Manager at Urban Air Adventure Parks is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including birthday parties, corporate events, and special occasions. This role requires a highly organized and customer-focused individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring an excellent guest experience. The Event Manager will work closely with clients to customize events, oversee event operations, and lead a team of event staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
  • Develop event plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure all details are covered.
  • Drive event sales by reaching out to potential clients, giving tours of the facilities, and presenting tailored event packages.
  • Oversee event setup, breakdown, and operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
  • Lead and manage a team of event staff, providing clear instructions and ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are well-coordinated.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests and providing exceptional service.
  • Monitor event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and control costs to ensure profitability.
  • Partner with the marketing team to promote events and activities.
  • Collect feedback from clients, conduct post-event evaluations, and use insights to improve future events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of event planning or event management experience, preferably in a hospitality, entertainment, or recreation setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field (preferred, but not required with relevant experience).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and leading a team.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with experience in driving event sales.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
