The Event Manager position at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is a pivotal role within ASM Global, a leader in managing public assembly facilities. This position is responsible for providing professional client services support throughout the planning, organization, and management of events held at the facility. The Event Manager will oversee all logistics related to events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously coordinated from the moment an event is booked until its conclusion. This includes direct interaction with clients to understand their needs, guiding them through the preparation process, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met. The Event Manager will meet with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and events, coordinating activities with various service contractors to ensure seamless execution. They will keep clients informed about deadlines and requirements, such as floor plan submissions and insurance needs, while also preparing cost estimates and monitoring final billing. Clear and timely communication with operational departments is essential, as the Event Manager will assist in scheduling set-ups and monitoring facility arrangements. In addition to these responsibilities, the Event Manager will serve as the primary liaison between clients and facility departments, maintaining close contact during events to address any requests or concerns. They will also attend relevant planning and operational meetings to support the overall functioning of the facility.
