About the position

The Event Manager will be responsible for coordinating community events that foster connections among employees at a multi-building campus. This role is part of the Employee Experience team and focuses on enhancing company culture through various events and programs. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while working collaboratively with different teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a calendar of site-wide events, including meetups and all-hands meetings.
  • Create communications, marketing materials, and digital assets for events and programs.
  • Plan, manage logistics, and execute local events within the approved budget.
  • Coordinate and execute local office welcome and new hire experiences.
  • Support community or cultural events, including employee resource groups and engagement opportunities.
  • Collect feedback from attendees and compile data to inform future planning efforts.
  • Support event committees by assigning tasks and ensuring completion.
  • Maintain and update the local wiki and microsite for site resources.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and finance processes in partnership with the Finance team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning for organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working within specified budgets.
  • Experience using data to solve problems.
  • Proven experience building cross-functional relationships.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Experience collaborating as part of a cross-regional team.
  • Strong technical skills in using internal event and registration tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Keynote, and Outlook.
