About the position

Crawl With US is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Manager to oversee our Halloween Bar Crawls and other future events. This part-time, contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour. The Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently, providing a positive experience for all attendees. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, where the number of participants can vary significantly, from 100 to 1000 people, depending on the event. The Event Manager's shift will typically last from 2 PM to 10 PM, with the upcoming event scheduled for Saturday, October 26th. In this role, you will be tasked with checking people in and coordinating with other event staff to ensure that all operations are running as planned. We strive to make the job as straightforward and organized as possible, and we expect our Event Manager to maintain a calm and professional demeanor throughout the event. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in event management or a solid understanding of how events operate, along with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with district managers and venue owners. We emphasize the importance of professionalism during events, which includes adhering to specific guidelines: no yelling or arguing, no drinking on the job, and punctuality is crucial.
