Cescaphe is seeking a full-time Event Manager to join our award-winning team in Philadelphia. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and coordinating exquisite events, ensuring that every detail aligns with our clients' visions. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, along with bonuses and client tips, making it a fantastic opportunity for those with a background in fine dining hospitality who are eager to exceed client expectations. As the primary point of contact for clients on event days, the Event Manager will lead a talented team of staff to achieve excellent event execution. This includes collaborating with the culinary and operations teams, as well as outside vendors, to ensure that every aspect of the event runs smoothly. The Event Manager will also oversee the cleanliness and organization of the venue, ensuring it shines for guests. Responsibilities will include handling paperwork, maintaining effective communication with clients, and being flexible to perform additional duties as needed to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, particularly in fine dining, and will be detail-oriented and enthusiastic about the event industry. This role requires weekend availability and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and coordinate exquisite events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on event days.
  • Lead a team of talented, trained staff to achieve excellent event execution.
  • Work with front-of-house employee management and guide the culinary team to ensure the best cuisine is executed for guests.
  • Oversee the venue's cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams and outside vendors for successful event execution.
  • Handle paperwork and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Educate and guide clients in decisions that benefit their event and CEG.
  • Ensure all discussed items during event coordination are accurately recorded and communicated to necessary departments.
  • Direct the set-up and breakdown of assigned events, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization.
  • Oversee the set up and execution of food service and courses, providing feedback to maintain standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience and training in hospitality or event management.
  • RAMP Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Freedom from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
