This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. As an Event Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that events run smoothly and that guests have a memorable experience. You will assist with the hiring and training of banquet employees, including Bartenders, Servers, and Dishwashers, ensuring that all staff are well-prepared and equipped to deliver exceptional service. You will also be responsible for scheduling hourly staff for events, maintaining the proper level of staffing to meet the demands of each event. Your attention to detail will be key in executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring that all aspects of the event meet our high standards for customer service. In addition to managing staff, you will lead the set-up and breakdown of all event spaces according to the outlined BEO, ensuring that the venue is clean and organized both before and after events. You will also be involved in procuring and ordering event-specific supplies, including alcohol, and ensuring timely delivery and quality control. Your role will require you to enforce company standards, policies, and procedures consistently, while also nurturing and developing employees through training, coaching, and providing constructive feedback during events. This position is part-time and requires work on weekends and when events take place, making it ideal for those looking to gain experience in the event management field while working flexible hours.
