About the position

The Event Manager at Warrior Poet, LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and production for the Aubrey Marcus Collective. This role requires a self-aware and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines. The position involves both remote and in-person work, with fluctuating hours based on event schedules. The Event Manager will report directly to the COO and will play a crucial role in ensuring successful event execution and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all event planning and production for the Aubrey Marcus Collective.
• Manage event day operations and staff during events.
• Provide financial reporting before, during, and after events.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines across various companies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members.
• Communicate effectively with all necessary parties regarding event operations.
• Project manage all aspects of events from planning to execution.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including mobility and lifting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior event management experience.
• Proficiency in using Google Suite.
• Ability to project manage all aspects of events.
• Knowledge of operational procedures and technical requirements for events.
• Ability to develop plans, budgets, and reporting for event operations.
• High emotional intelligence with a positive attitude and work ethic.
• Capability to understand challenges from a company-wide perspective and find solutions.
• Ability to quickly shift priorities and handle problems calmly and timely.
• Confidence in handling confidential information.
