About the position

Ping Identity is seeking an Event Manager to join our Experiential Events team, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing our virtual events and smaller in-person programs, while also assisting with larger events. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Experiential Events. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and producing virtual events using a virtual event platform. This includes configuring the event, designing registration paths, and collaborating with a production team to ensure the successful broadcast of event content. You will also take ownership of executing small in-person programs, which involves coordinating and planning all logistics to create memorable experiences for attendees. Additionally, you will assist the team with larger programs, which may include managing housing, food and beverage planning, registration services, or conducting general research to support event success. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or have at least 3 years of equivalent experience in event management. Creativity is essential for this role, as you will be tasked with developing engaging experiences for our event attendees. You should have experience and a proven track record of success working with virtual event platforms, as well as a solid understanding of both virtual and live event planning or hospitality. Strong time management skills are necessary, as you will need to juggle multiple priorities effectively. The role may require some travel, estimated at around 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce virtual events using a virtual event platform, including configuration of event and designing registration paths.

  • Create memorable impact for shows through creative experience planning and promotions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or 3+ years equivalent experience
  • Creativity to help create great experiences for event attendees
  • Experience and success working with virtual event platforms
  • Solid understanding of virtual and live event planning or hospitality
  • Strong time management with the ability to juggle priorities
  • Ability to travel (~10%)
