About the position

The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing successful events that create memorable experiences for attendees and clients. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a creative mindset to bring innovative ideas to the events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including budget planning and venue selection.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives for the event.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for services such as catering and entertainment.
• Work with marketing and design teams to develop event themes and promotional materials.
• Manage event budgets and track expenses, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate event staff, including volunteers and security personnel, ensuring smooth execution of the event.
• Create contingency plans and troubleshoot issues during the event.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate unique event ideas.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage logistics and budgets.
• Proficient in event management software and tools.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
