About the position

As the Event Venue Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events at our popular waterfront restaurant in Wilmington, DE. This position is not just about managing events; it is about creating memorable experiences for our guests and building lasting relationships with clients. You will act as the primary liaison between our Sales Team and the Event Team, ensuring that all signed contracts are executed flawlessly and that detailed instructions are provided to guarantee a successful event experience. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high standards of service that our restaurant is known for. In your daily responsibilities, you will oversee the execution of events, manage our social media presence and website, and approve the responsibilities of event coordinators. Effective communication with the Sales Team will be vital to ensure that all aspects of the event are aligned and executed as planned. You will also be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, including final appointments, payroll management, invoice submissions, and vendor coordination. Client follow-ups and reviews will be part of your weekly routine, ensuring that we continuously improve our services based on client feedback. On a monthly and quarterly basis, your focus will shift to more strategic tasks such as licensing, HR requirements, menu streamlining, and conducting staff meetings. You will also participate in bank reconciliation and sales/event team meetings to discuss performance and areas for improvement. Your commitment to excellence and your ability to manage a team will be key to our success in the hospitality industry, and you will help establish our credibility in providing exceptional event management services.
