About the position

The Event Marketing Driver role at Monster Energy Company involves transporting equipment and trailers to various event locations across the country. This position requires safe and professional driving, as well as assisting in warehouse duties, including vehicle maintenance. The driver will be on the road for extended periods, ensuring timely delivery and setup of equipment for events.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment and trailers to event locations across the country.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on all MEC units driven to identify and repair minor faults.
• Maintain vehicle trip, fuel, and IFTA logs as required by DOT.
• Observe and comply with all traffic regulations.
• Deliver, set-up, and breakdown all trailers and equipment for events as assigned.
• Ensure all MEC vehicles are neat, tidy, and polished, and perform regular upkeep.
• Load and unload tractors/trailers both manually and with pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Meet customer service expectations regarding daily communications and problem resolution.
• Operate equipment safely, following all safety regulations and precautions.
• Communicate with supervisors or clients using wireless devices or on-board computer systems.
• Report any delays affecting timely delivery to the logistics manager and clients.
• Report any accidents incurred during transportation to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license and maintain a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of prior over-the-road trucking experience preferred.
• Ability to operate manual 18-speed tractors.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs or more.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of routes within the region.
• Expansive knowledge of road signs and safety procedures.

Benefits

• Base pay range of $68,600 - $80,900.
