About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Amplity Health is responsible for planning, managing, and executing both in-person and virtual events, including webinars, meetings, and conferences in the pharma/biotech sector. This role requires strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to enhance client engagement through effective event strategies. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones, and reports to a Senior Director of Content Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop event strategies to align webinars, events, and conferences with company goals and branding objectives.
  • Analyze event and sponsorship potential to assess benefits for company positioning and client engagement.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and logistical coordination for pharma/biotech conferences and companywide meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless event execution, including finalizing employee attendees with senior leaders.
  • Oversee event/booth setup, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
  • Plan and execute conference-related social events to drive leads and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage multiple aspects of live and virtual educational and thought leadership events.
  • Capture metrics before, during, and after events and integrate them into the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with speakers, attendees, and conference organizers to track and pay conference expenses in a timely manner.
  • Create project codes and ensure proper tracking of event-related expenses with the finance team.
  • Develop and deliver event-related lead generation strategies and tactics for conferences.
  • Create, track, and analyze event performance metrics to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lead nurturing programs to convert event attendees into loyal customers.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and conference faculty.
  • Evaluate potential vendors and monitor their contracts and performance.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event materials.
  • Support the corporate marketing team in producing written materials for events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing or event management.
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality events on time and within budget.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com campaign management is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
