About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Amplity Health is responsible for planning, managing, and executing both in-person and virtual events, including webinars, meetings, and conferences in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. This role requires strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones, and reports to a Senior Director of Content Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop event strategies to align webinars and conferences with company goals.
  • Analyze event and sponsorship potential for client engagement.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and logistics for pharma/biotech conferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event setup, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
  • Plan and execute social events related to conferences.
  • Manage live and virtual educational events, coordinating with speakers and providers.
  • Capture metrics before, during, and after events for CRM integration.
  • Track and manage conference expenses with timely payments.
  • Coordinate creation of project codes and expense tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing or event management.
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering events on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com campaign management is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
