About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Amplity Health is responsible for planning, managing, and executing both in-person and virtual events in the pharma/biotech sector. This role involves overseeing event logistics, managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and analyzing sponsorship opportunities to enhance the company's market position. The position requires strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to lead events that maximize client engagement, all while aligning with the company's branding objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop event strategies to align webinars, events, and conferences with company goals.
  • Analyze event and sponsorship potential for company positioning and client engagement.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and logistical coordination for pharma/biotech conferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event setup, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
  • Plan and execute conference-related social events to drive leads and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage live and virtual educational events, coordinating with continuing education providers if necessary.
  • Capture metrics before, during, and after events for CRM integration.
  • Coordinate with speakers, attendees, and conference organizers to track expenses.
  • Develop lead generation strategies and tactics for conferences.
  • Create, track, and analyze event performance metrics to measure ROI.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and conference faculty.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all event materials.
  • Support the corporate marketing team in producing written materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing or event management.
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com campaign management is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with external partners and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in writing compelling email campaigns and social media posts.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and report on event success.
