About the position

The Event Marketing Manager for AWS will oversee the planning and execution of various internal events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective communication strategies. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to build relationships across teams, and a focus on improving processes to enhance event effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and lead small, complex programs within the Internal Events portfolio.
  • Support Lead Program Managers with event and work stream management across multiple programs.
  • Actively look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Earn trust and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to manage leadership reviews and team meetings.
  • Support on-site execution of events.
  • Juggle multiple priorities while executing high-quality deliverables.
  • Work independently and autonomously.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience managing budgets.

Nice-to-haves
