About the position

The Event Marketing Manager for AWS will oversee the planning and execution of large-scale hybrid and face-to-face events within the Global Internal Events Team. This role requires strategic leadership in managing complex programs, fostering relationships across the organization, and ensuring effective communication and project management to support internal stakeholders and enhance employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and lead small, complex programs within the Internal Events portfolio.
  • Support Lead Program Managers with event and work stream management across multiple programs.
  • Look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong relationships across the organization to support goals and communicate with internal leaders.
  • Manage leadership reviews, weekly team meetings, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and post-event debriefs.
  • Support on-site execution of events.
  • Juggle multiple priorities while executing high-quality deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Work independently and autonomously.
  • Navigate a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience managing budgets.

Nice-to-haves
