About the position

The Event Marketing Manager position is an exciting and highly visible role responsible for managing the trade show strategy and execution for an assigned industry or Weave-hosted event. This role focuses on selecting, planning, and delivering high-performing events and experiences that drive lead generation, audience expansion, and revenue growth. This position will be hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

Responsibilities

  • Research, select, plan, and execute marketing events, such as trade show booths and Weave-hosted networking events.
  • Coordinate all logistics and experience elements, including registration, content, catering, exhibit set-ups, revenue tracking, and pre-/post-event materials support.
  • Create unique experiences for Weave-hosted dinners, cocktail receptions, and networking activations that drive pipeline and ROI.
  • Forecast, set, and measure goals for assigned events.
  • Manage assigned budgets efficiently and effectively.
  • Work proactively and closely with sales on staffing booths effectively.
  • Procure and coordinate vendor and facility services.
  • Work cohesively with internal teams (marketing and cross-functional stakeholders) to strategize, plan, and execute event elements.
  • Track leads, revenue, and customer acquisition generated from owned events.
  • Research, vet, and secure event sponsorships.
  • Manage multiple projects and work assignments simultaneously with diverse teams and vendors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an Event or Experiential Marketing role.
  • A detail-oriented and highly organized approach to work.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to assigned strategic trade shows and Weave-hosted events.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas and timelines to diverse audiences and stakeholders to gain consensus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone or email, with high levels of professionalism.
  • A proven ability to work cross-functionally to mobilize internal and external teams and deliver continuous value to customers and prospects.

  • Customer experience is at your core. You constantly ask, 'How can I make this moment matter to the audience? How can I surprise and delight people interacting with my brand?'
  • Experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, WordPress, and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong writing background.
  • Previous experience in creating promotional materials and invitations.
