About the position

The Event Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of various industry events, including trade shows, national engagement events, and virtual/hybrid events. This role is crucial for driving brand awareness, generating leads, and enhancing client engagement, supporting the North America sales teams. The manager will oversee event budgets, logistics, and post-event reporting, ensuring a seamless experience and effective management of target audience registrations and speaker engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale and regional events, including logistics for trade show booths and VIP events.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of event planning and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Demonstrate exceptional project and budget management skills, focusing on execution, reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Communicate effectively and lead multiple stakeholders while managing tight deadlines.
  • Work independently in a remote environment when not on-site at events.
  • Implement immersive customer engagement tactics, including managing event collateral and giveaways.
  • Advocate for innovative ideas to support continuous improvement in event management.
  • Collaborate with field marketing on post-event activities and analyze event success for future improvements.
  • Utilize social media to promote event participation and awareness.
  • Coordinate attendee support for travel, scheduling, and budget management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of event marketing experience in B2B services and/or technology industry.
  • Experience with corporate-level event management, including production, marketing, and logistics.
  • Preferred degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Ability to manage events across time zones with a strategic and proactive mindset.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and event management software like ON24, Cvent, or Eventbrite.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, delivering events on time and within budget.
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and creative in developing engaging event experiences.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
