About the position

The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and management of client-led and partner-led events across the Americas region for a global technology client. This role aims to enhance the client's connection with consumers and partners through innovative events, ensuring exceptional experiences that align with marketing objectives and brand vision.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement holistic event strategies that align with the client's marketing objectives and brand vision.
  • Collaborate with marketing, business groups, and CP/SP to gather and align needs for events across the Americas.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of client-led and partner-led events, ensuring they are delivered on brand, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Write event RFPs and briefs and oversee the briefing and management of event agencies to ensure alignment with the client's standards.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external event agencies, ensuring innovative and awe-inspiring event experiences.
  • Oversee experience design, build-out, demo content, lead generation, performance, and ongoing updates to the client's home experience at a leading consumer electronics retailer.
  • Manage event plan, concepts, build, deployment, success metrics, and operations for pop-up events with the client's partners at the client's Live concert venue at Park MGM.
  • Identify and oversee relationships with vendors to provide turnkey purchase and installation support of the client's enabled home theater systems in support of the client always-on influencer program.
  • Work with experience design agencies and the client's internal global events and technology team to develop a mobile event experience strategy and concepts that bring the client's experiences to life for partner employee events and consumer events linked to cultural moments.
  • Manage the build, deployment, updates, and daily operations for this mobile event experience.
  • Support Americas-specific partner events in various sectors, such as automotive, cinema, and home.
  • Establish and track success metrics for all events, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Provide regular reports on event performance and impact and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, business groups, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful event execution.
  • Balance the needs of various stakeholders, including the Head of Americas Marketing and the Head of Global Events, within the dual reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully executing high-profile events.
  • Experience in managing external event agencies and contractors.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for creating innovative, high-quality events that resonate with both consumers and partners.
  • Experience in the technology or entertainment industry.
  • Ex-agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the client's products and technologies.
  • Knowledge of event management software and tools.
