About the position

The Event Marketing Manager for Parchment at Instructure is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of trade shows and events. This role focuses on creating meaningful engagements for customers and prospective customers, ensuring that all operational and administrative logistics are managed effectively. The position requires collaboration with various departments and a strong emphasis on customer experience, creativity, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and secure sponsorships and exhibit space for target market events & trade shows
• Research and book dinner or other hosted event venues as needed
• Develop and maintain overall project plan and manage internal and external deliverables in a timely and effective manner
• Manage all operational and administrative logistics from sponsorship registration to ordering booth materials and services
• Work with existing vendor partners to manage marketing inventory so each event is properly branded
• Write event briefs and communicate plans and schedules with stakeholders
• Manage lead collection and processing, gather post-event feedback, and coordinate post-show follow-up
• Manage spend and adhere to budget

Requirements

• Proven experience with trade show and event management
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Experience managing event budgets
• Proficiency in Google Suite and project management software like Asana
