About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Seismic will focus on creating and executing event strategies specifically for the Financial Services segment. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop world-class experiences through field marketing events, tradeshows, webinars, and direct mail campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Financial Services event strategy, including tradeshows, webinars, and field marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the field marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas for customer experiences.
  • Ensure promotional and logistical planning aligns with the budgeting process.
  • Partner with sales and account management teams to support the sales cycle with events.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage event projects.
  • Work with the Marketing Campaign team to deliver impactful events that drive results.
  • Communicate and manage key dates and deliverables for events across marketing teams.
  • Drive logistical planning for events, including booth design and AV equipment ordering.
  • Manage conference event swag, inventory, and shipping of materials.
  • Report and communicate post-event leads and attendance numbers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Experience in maximizing campaign ROI through internal team collaboration.
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Understanding of the relationship between sales and marketing.
  • Team-player attitude with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed mindset with strong collaboration skills.
  • Genuine curiosity and desire for continuous learning.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
