About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Tech9 is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive event strategy to enhance brand awareness, nurture client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role involves managing both live and virtual events, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives. The position offers significant visibility and impact within the organization, working closely with the leadership team and contributing to the establishment of a best-in-class marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy, including both live and virtual events, to meet business objectives of growing pipeline, nurturing client relationships, and creating awareness.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of events, including sourcing, planning, development, and execution, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
  • Establish KPIs for each event and analyze event performance against metrics to assess success.
  • Creatively deliver Tech9 hosted event experiences, like Tech9's Technical Leader Lunches, award dinners, customer roadshows, webinars, etc.
  • Create detailed event plans and supporting event materials, including event briefs, landing pages, and promotional assets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and provide consistent communication to the exec team to ensure alignment around objectives and logistics.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring all activities are within allocated resources.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience in Event Marketing, preferably in SaaS.
  • Experience managing sponsored and hosted events, both live and virtual.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high bar for quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and navigate ambiguity.
  • High attention to detail and providing a creative thinker with a proven ability to bring ideas to life.
  • Track record of establishing strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce and marketing tools preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
