About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Savvas Learning Company is responsible for developing and executing strategies for trade shows, conferences, and events that enhance the company's brand and engage K-12 educators. This role involves collaborating with various internal and external partners to create compelling experiences that meet business objectives and financial targets, while ensuring exceptional delivery and execution of events.

Responsibilities

• Manage trade show, conference and event portfolio
• Execute overall trade show, conference and event strategy and portfolio
• Collaborate with marketing, product line teams, and sales to develop exceptional programs
• Work with leadership to develop strategy-aligned thought leadership platforms for events
• Assist business partners and product teams in developing event marketing tactics
• Utilize metrics to track results including capturing attendee data and lead generation
• Compile weekly reports and make data-driven recommendations
• Support management of all costs, keeping each program/event on budget
• Support internal employee events as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of tradeshow, conference and event marketing experience
• K-12 education industry marketing experience is a plus
• Proven experience with virtual conferencing, marketing and social platforms
• Ability to think strategically and influence key stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Experience working closely with internal teams and external vendors
• Strong competency with G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's Degree is required; Marketing or Business degree is preferred
