About the position

As a key member of the marketing team, you will assist in the development and execution of corporate event marketing programs. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that are crucial for the successful planning and execution of events. You will be involved in all aspects of pre-event program needs, which includes vendor selection and management, budget development and approvals, event registration and demand generation, as well as venue selection and management, including food and beverage operations. Additionally, you will contribute to the creative concept design and production of events, ensuring that each event aligns with the overall marketing strategy and brand image. During the events, you will manage all aspects of on-site execution, either directly or through outsourced vendors, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Post-event, your responsibilities will include developing and executing follow-up plans for event attendees, uploading and tracking leads, and preparing wrap-up reports to assess the success of the event. Your goal will be to ensure that all programs are executed successfully, efficiently, and within budget, providing a high degree of satisfaction for all attendees. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will complete your role largely independently, with some assistance and guidance within defined policies and procedures. You will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while also being adaptable to the varying demands of event marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of pre-event program needs including vendor selection and management.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or event production/execution.
  • Marketing experience in the IT industry is desired.
  • Professional credentials in Marketing are preferred.
  • Academic credentials in a related field are desirable.
