About the position

The Event Marketing Specialist at Strider Technologies is responsible for planning and executing corporate events that align with the company's mission of delivering strategic intelligence. This role involves collaborating with team members to create impactful experiences, managing vendor relationships, coordinating logistics, and overseeing budget management. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of in-person events, including high-profile meetings, dinners, and networking events.
• Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts and themes, executing on tight timelines.
• Research and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with agreements.
• Coordinate logistics, including audiovisual needs, transportation, food/beverage, and accommodations.
• Assist in creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in the B2B technology sector.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (e.g., Cvent).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
